Join us on an exciting tour to Lake Bled’s larger brother. Lake Bohinj is a glacial lake in the heart of the Julian Alps.
Our daily trip will take you from Bled through the narrow Sava Bohinjka river gorge to the small farming villages of Srednja vas and Stara Fuzina, where you can still get a glimpse of life as it was more than a hundred years ago.
After this you have two hours time to either explore Lake Bohinj from a tourist boat, on foot or by bike or indulge in one of the optional sports activities* (horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking or paragliding).
Our tour then continues to Savica waterfall (78 m high), a karst type spring hidden in the mountains above Lake Bohinj. We then pick you up and take you to top of Mt.Vogel (1535m) by a modern cable car.
On top of this popular ski centre you can admire the breathtaking view of Lake Bohinj and the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, including Triglav (at 2864m towering above the lake).
After the optional lunch we return to the valley by cable car and return over Pokljuka plateau back to Bled in the late afternoon.
